The Power of Sin is the Law

1 Cor. 15:56:  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Romans 6:7:  For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Romans 3:20b: Through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Chain of Events
  • Without yellow added to green you cannot get the color blue. link
  • Without a foreign allergen within the body histamine is not released. link
  • Without correct portions of zinc and copper brass cannot be created.
Without the law:
  • Sin has no power
  • There is no reckoning of sin to one’s account
  • This is no knowledge of sin. Specifically, epignosis; link
If I do not mix the colors of green and yellow then how will I know blue could be created?
If an allergic pollen, dander or other foreign substance to my never entered my body how would I know what histamine looks like during a reaction?
How can I create brass if I only have zinc or copper?
Without Jesus dying on the cross I would be aware of condemnation; conscious of the guilt and penalty of sin. I would be unaware of His righteousness in me by grace and inheritance. I would be aware of my account of sins and incapable of wiping it clean.
If I am unaware of the color green, the histamine reactions or the brass alloy then how would I be aware of sin? The scriptures below directly correlate.
