Sent Son and sent son

I wrote this excerpt on 05/22/09 and saved it to my drafts. I had been reading and studying Hebrews.

“Hebrews three talks about Jesus being the Chief Apostle and High Priest of our faith. Chapter two talks about Him being made a little lower than the angels and the authority given to Him. The second part in chapter two talks about Him being a High Priest. An apostle is a son sent by his Father.”

Then I read it today, 07/13/10, I it was quickened once again with more light.

Gal. 4:4, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son..

John 3:17, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

The Greek definition of apostle is a delegate, messenger, or ambassador sent with full power of attorney to do or rather be the will of the Sender.

Gal. 4:6, “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

The Father has sent His will, The Word made Flesh, His Only Son, by grace and revelation, into the hearts of those who believe He resurrected from the dead and was sent from the Father. I believe the Lord is calling His apostles and prophets for His Church. I believe this has never stopped since the birth of the New Testament Church in Acts1. They are sent sons from the Father Whom Christ has revealed Himself in them by grace.
