Obligated fruit-bearing

Galatians 5:23, “…Against such there is no law.”

No one should have to put a gun to a Christian’s head to bear His fruit:  love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

I believe we bear fruit naturally without effort because willingness is in us. It is His willingness in us that makes us righteous.

Phil. 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.”

The power behind the willingness is the power to those who believe, Eph. 1:19. This all-surpassing power enables us to bear fruit by grace and revelation of Him in us. At salvation, we are drowned and immersed into Him. We are immersed into His nature. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and revelation impart Him into us from glory to glory, faith to faith and image to image effortlessly! He created us for good works, Eph. 2:10. Good works are grace based and not dead, but we are dead in Him to the guilt and penalty of the law. The old nature is nailed to the cross. The new man lives in newness of life bearing His fruit willingly and not under obligation.
