How could you love me?

Generally speaking, I realized yesterday, 05/03/10, that when someone does not allow you to love them they likely are not allowing or approving  the gift of love towards themselves. They are probably allowing conditional love and possibly do not feel worthy of yours. I believe that is why God sent His Son. He sent unconditional love in the flesh.

He loved us when we could not love ourselves. He did this in Himself by grace and power because HE is Love.

Romans 5:8, “But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

In the Greek, “Sinners” means those who miss the mark. That mark will never be hit by us, but in Christ it gone. Therefore, We ARE NOT called to hit the mark, but to LIVE by His faith in us. Trying to hit a mark to show God we love Him is not necessarily ‘living.’ If I am under obligation to do then why am I doing it? A slave only does what he or she is told to do. A son or daughter heeds to voice of the Father. The Father imprints himself to His children.

Romans 8:37, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

Galatians 4:1-5, “Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
