Disown my true nature

2 Tim. 2:13, “If we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”

If I am not living by His faith and grace in me I am disowning my true nature. Christ is the First and the Last. All things were created by Him and for Him. All things consist by Him. He cannot disown Himself.

If I disown myself as Adam did then I separate myself from relationship and life with my Creator and God. My life is hid in Him, Col. 3:3. I am pushing myself away from who I truly am, but faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of life and truth. This faith is His faith and it is the substance of things hoped for. This hope imparts His life. He is the hope of glory and He is life. I expect righteousness, joy, love, power and life because He is the hope of glory in me.

So, 2 Tim. 2:13 is saying if we are faithless He will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself. He is truth. Truth cannot deny itself. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be truth.
