Constantly established

1 Thess. 3:13 has been in my ears lately, “To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

The word “establish” can also mean “constant.”

Constant can mean the following:

  • not changing or varying; uniform; regular; invariable
  • continuing without pause or letup; unceasing
  • regularly recurrent; continual; persistent
  • steadfast; firm in mind or purpose; resolute

So, the above verse could also read,

“Unto  Him establishing your hearts now (invariably, unceasingly, continually, always, resolutely) irreprehensible and blameless in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”
