Col. 2:11, “In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins [fn] of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,”
The circumcision of Christ is according to the Spirit of God in us which is the the word of God.
Eph. 6:17, “And receive…the sword of the Spirit which (spirit) is the word of God.“
Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
1 Cor. 15:45, “So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life–giving spirit.”
John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Rom. 2:29, “No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God.”
The Hebrew word davar indicates words are things and things are words. His word is not empty, but spirit and life.
John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.”
1 Pet. 4:11, “If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles of God..”
We can speak His will and word into this fallen creation according to His purpose and plan of redemption and it will not return void, but fulfill its purpose. The quickened word that proceeds from Him through us does not require our strength to be what it is to do what it does. It is by His enabling power and ability. It raises the dead, delivers, changes lives, even our DNA, redeems and anything else that is according to the will and purpose of Him who sits on High whose name is a exalted above all others that every knee will bow and acknowledge that Jesus is the resurrected Son of God from the house of the dead, Lord or all Lords and King of all Kings.
