Too many times I have made my life unnecessarily difficult. I’ve come to realize I did so in ignorance and fear. Through family, good friendship, honest communication, and most of all the Word I am in a great place in life with true purpose. I am grateful for my God, wife, family, and friends. This scripture in the gospel of Matthew comes to mind when I think of “pushing peanuts.”

Matthew 23:1-12 (NLT)
Verse 4 “They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.”

Although the epistle to the Hebrews says,

Hebrews 4:9 (KJV)
“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.”

In Christ, I am freed from dead works into His rest and live by His enabling power and ability through the faith of Him.
