  • The Fringe

Watched an episode last night of a new show I’ve been watching lately called ‘The Fringe.’ The show seems similar to X-Files with a twist. I believe the title is in reference to the fringe of science and science fiction.

In a previous episode, an FBI agent named Olivia, fell in love with her partner who I think was a double agent of some sort? Anyways, he came in contact with a horrible flesh eating virus (I think) and is induced into a coma to decelerate the effects of the virus. Through due diligence, Olivia finds this man, Dr. Bishop. He was or is ‘The Fringe’ doctor or scientist. I can’t recall the specifics of the Dr.’s history. The guy is eclectic and out there, but is a scientific genius.

Agent Olivia needs vital information that only her comatose partner knows. In an experiment, Dr. Bishop is able to link them together mentally. Olivia goes into a trance of sorts and eventually her brain waves synchronize with Mr. Coma. Then she finds herself in his consciousness. She finds him and talks with him and he is able to give a the identity and picture of the man who attacked him. In the state of co-mingle consciousness she kisses him. Talk about a bond. Eventually, she wakes up to go find the killer.

I think Mr. Coma is healed, but is then killed in a shooting. So, he’s dead. Or is he?

In the following episodes after Mr. Coma’s death, he comes to visit her. She believes these are hallucinations, but he is able to tell her many factual things that she later confirms. In this most recent episode, needless to say, this is really starting to disturb her. In a conversation, Dr. Bishop notices a change in her lately and asks if she’s okay? She shrugs it off and says something like, “I’m alright.” Then Dr. Bishop asks her, “Have you been seeing Mr. Coma?” Her reply is, “How did you know?”

Dr. Bishop said when she entered his consciousness that Mr. Coma’s consciousness entered hers. He said every time she sees Mr. Coma it is his consciousness manifesting and her consciousness dealing with it.

She asked Dr. Bishop, “Will it this every stop?” Dr. Bishop’s reply was, “Do you want it to?”

That was when I was like, “Whoa!”

This told me that the reason his conscious was in her was because she allowed him in there. The kiss possibly reinforced that bond. More than likely, she had not grieved over her loss either. Her love towards him kept him there. She would not love him though without being conscious of him first, 1 John 4:19.

Of course, I am relating all of this to my relationship with Christ. Christ was Mr. Coma. He did not die. He is alive. His consciousness, or Him, who He is, is in me by the revealing of Him through hearing and hearing His word. My relationship is not hinged on me wanting Him there, but on Him revealing Himself.

In Eph. 3:9, Paul speaks of “the fellowship of the mystery.” In Eph. 5:32, he speaks of a great and profound mystery of Christ and the Church not only of man and wife.

Romans says I am immersed or baptized into Him.

  • No wonder I keep remembering

Hebrews 10:2-4 (Aramaic NT) says, “– because now not being troubled in conscience with their sins who one time purified them: — but in them, by their sacrifices, they remembered their sins every year. For the blood of bulls and goats is not able to purify sins.”

Here is my paraphrase of the red, bold, underlined text.

If I have to earn my approval, God’s approval, or any other person’s approval by my self-performance (or works), then I am reminding myself of the guilt and or penalty of my sin.

The three previous blogs touched on the purged conscience or chief witness, which address the guilt of sin.

Under the works of the law, I will remember my guilt of things I have done or even the thoughts or imaginations themselves. My work of self-strength is a reminder I can’t forgive or make myself whole. The Greek word for salvation means to make the spirit, soul, and body whole without anything lacking.

My self-performance and self-achievement will actually excite, stimulate, provoke, and enliven the old sinful nature inviting an increase of guilt, shame, corruption and death.

Romans 5:20 (ESV) says, “Now the law came in to increase the trespass…”

Romans 11:6 says, “And if by grace, then [is it] no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if [it be] of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”

Both grace and law cannot be mixed, Luke 5:36-39 (NIV).

Christ is the Testator of the New Covenant under grace, Heb. 9:16-17, John 1:17.

The following are some blogs that talk about how the law brings the old nature to life and the effects of it upon the church.

  • Chief witness part 3 – Thoughts of accusation or defense

This blog builds on Chief witness and Chief witness part 2.

Romans 2:14-15 (NIV) says, “(Indeed, when Gentiles (non-Jews), who do not have the law (Moses Law), do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)”

Prior to knowing Christ and even as a Christian this has been true in my life. According to an expectation I put in my heart, I have either severely put myself down or pat myself on the back and base my spirituality on this which led to more confusion and unnecessary trials in my walk. Needless to say, I was frustrated. I was frustrated because I was partaking of ‘another’ gospel, 2 Cor. 11:4, Gal. 1:6-7.

I hope and pray that the readers of this particular blog receive the core message. To me, this revelation has changed me so much and so quickly. This message has turned my life into a new direction, dimension and spiritual consciousness I could only dream of. I am persuaded it is only the beginning and the best is yet to come! I really hope it blesses you immensely. Lord, I pray, grant a spirit of wisdom and revelation to the reader. I speak Your faith to the readers Lord. I ask you Lord, to give ears to hear. I pray Lord, unveil your Word. I pray this seed fall on good ground and bear fruit to give the Father glory by His Son. Amen.

So, what does Rom. 2:14-15 mean? To me, it tells me prior to Christ all of mankind has some sort of law written on their hearts. Even though man is fallen, he was still created in the image of God.

Also, prior to this revelation, the ‘chief witness’ or my conscience witnesses the right or wrong thoughts that are based in my heart. (God knows everyone’s thoughts. Hebrews 4:12, Luke 16:15.)

Here is an example of the conscience witnessing the law written on the heart.

Hypothetically speaking, let’s say I think of robbing a bank (which I won’t and don’t encourage or condone.)

Did I sin? Am I judged?

One answer is, “Well as long as you didn’t do it you’re okay.” That suggests dead works, “as long as you didn’t do it.” This tells me the train of thought is saying what I do justifies the doer. This is not New Covenant doctrine. This is akin to keeping the law or a law in order to not fall under judgment or condemnation.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:20, “For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Huh? Is that possible? Yes, by grace through His faith in me.

Am I judged by the thought?

Yes, if your conscience has not been purged from dead works or the law.

*** No, if your conscience has been purged from dead works.

For the longest time, I wanted to purchase an Aramaic New Testament. I bought “The Aramaic New Covenant A Literal Translation & Transliteration” a few years ago. ISBN 0 963 1951 6 6.

Hebrews 10:2-4 (Aramaic NT) says, “– because now not being troubled in conscience with their sins who one time purified them: — but in them, by their sacrifices, they remembered their sins every year. For the blood of bulls and goats is not able to purify sins.”

Hebrews 10:2 (Robert Young Literal), “since, would they not have ceased to be offered, because of those serving having no more conscience of sins, having once been purified?

Hebrews 10:2 (J.N. Darby), “Since, would they not indeed have ceased being offered, on account of the worshipers once purged having no longer any conscience of sins?

How in the world could I not be conscious of the judgment of this thought? My conscience is not troubled or aware of the judgment of the law written in my heart because Christ’s body is the One-time-for-All offering for my sin, Heb. 10:9-10. His offering of His Body which was ‘like sinful flesh’, but wasn’t, purged or removed my awareness of the law. His will is now in me. Love is me and in me now. Love fulfills and supersedes the law. It is not against the law to love with God’s love. Who I was, died with Christ on the cross. My defiled conscience died with Him. I am a new creation in Him, the old has gone! This means I am not aware in my conscience of judgment ever, all the time!

No wonder Paul says in 1 Cor. 4:3, “I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.” Why?

Perhaps, his conscience was unaware of the judgment or penalty of the law by grace and the faith of God’s Son.

I was reading Rom. 2:14-15 the other day and a crazy thought popped in my brain after reading.

If we “sin” in our dreams then do the same types of thoughts condemn us if we are awake?

I believe the Holy Spirit was ministering this Word to me again from another facet.

The answer is “no” if my conscience is purged.

Oh, so you’re saying, “I can think any thoughts I want to and I won’t be condemned.” My answer to those is if you really understand what I am writing then you wouldn’t waste selfish thoughts based on fear and not love. This is what Jude preached against, “Turning the grace of God into lasciviousness.” The grace of the Lord teaches me to say “no” to ungodliness and live in newness of life, Titus 2:11-12, Rom. 6:1-23.

The brother or sister who ministers “greasy grace” is like the Loadicean church. Lukewarm. “Greasy grace” is not true grace. It too is “another gospel” that does not minister life or godliness. Greasy grace doctrine is a selfish doctrine about ‘me.’

Also, Paul says, “Use not your liberty as an occasion to the flesh.” In doing so, you will reap corruption, God is not mocked. You will be miserable because only Christ gives life.

I am speaking of Hope to those who worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.

I am speaking of Hope to he or she who is thirsty. Rev. 21:6 (NIV).

I am speaking of forgiveness, redemption, power and life in Christ by His finished work.

In regard to the activity in the spirit of the mind, I am reminded of this scripture.

2 Cor. 10:5, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

The “taking captive of every thought” is not possible in the flesh. That is ridiculous. As His love diffuses my person, by the revelation of Him, the knowledge and awareness of Him, consumes, apprehends, and passively arrests me. In this maturation process, every thought is being taken captive passively through osmotic revelation and truth by grace. By grace, His will, not my works, supernaturally sprouts in me desiring not think the way I used to because I sincerely don’t want to. This compelling desire of not wanting to is not me. It is Christ, the Last Adam, in me.

  • What if I’m wrong?

Can you handle being wrong about anything? If you are wrong then does that imply failure?

How can you fail God? Is that possible after Christ’s finished work? Will He leave you if you fail? Will He separate Himself from you if you fail?

    No. Hebrews 13:5, Romans 8:35-39.

What is failure if He nailed the penalty of failure to obey the law to the cross in His flesh?

Is death failure? Death has no power over Him in me. Christ has the keys of death and hades in me.

    Suggested reading, Luke 18:10-14.

Many times I am wrong about whatever in my life and I eventually willfully admit or acknowledge it to God, myself, my wife, my children or others. In doing so, I acknowledge or reflect Truth. This ‘reflection’ of truth liberates me from the old me or thinking. It liberates me from the bondage of pride, arrogance, and self-sufficiency.

The words “confess” and “acknowledge” in the following scriptures is homologeo.

It means to literally “to say the same thing.”

    Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 1:9, 2:23, 4:2-3, 4:15.

If I am not “saying the same thing” in accordance with word of truth then I am a law unto myself. By definition, I would be leaning towards anarchism.

The Law says, “Do not steal.” Hypothetically, let’s say I stole something and then was caught. The owner of what I stole tells me, “What I did was not only wrong, but hurt them.” Theft can be emotional, spiritual, physical and not just material. In this scenario, what is truth?

Luke 10:27, “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.”

I can only love God, His Son, or my neighbor if the truth of real love has been revealed to me or in me. I do so only by His faith in me. As I grow in truth, or as it grows in me, so does my discernment of good and evil.

Paul says in 1 Cor. 6:12, “Everything is permissible for me”–but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me”–but I will not be mastered by anything.”

And in 1 Cor. 10:23, “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.”

Given the aforementioned example of stealing, and having the post-knowledge of truth I should be liberated from the yoke of slavery to steal because the truth sets me free. John 8:32.

The truth is more than not wanting to steal from my neighbor because I’m not supposed to. That seems superficial. In Him, by His faith, I don’t steal because the Spirit of His Son cries, “Abba, Father” in me. By this same Spirit, I love God, myself, and my neighbor. The diffusing, absorbing knowledge of the truth of this love consumes and metabolizes me. It changes my nature at every core of who I am from glory to glory forever. Therefore, His will is mine and mine is His by grace.

In Christ, when truth reveals itself, its nature is all-absorbing and all-consuming.

So, I “say or live out the same thing” in accordance and harmony with the nature of the truth because of the intrinsic essence of truth.

Fundamentally, truth is becoming me and I am becoming truth by the sanctifying work of the Spirit of God by revelation and grace.

  • Is it possible to pray without words?

I was wondering if it is possible to pray without words. I found this.

Here is an excerpt from https://www.preceptaustin.org/.

Praying (4336) (proseuchomai from pros = toward, facing, before [emphasizing the direct approach of the one who prays in seeking God’s face] + euchomai = originally to speak out, utter aloud, express a wish, then to pray or to vow. Greek technical term for invoking a deity) in the NT is always used of prayer addressed to God (to Him as the object of faith and the One who will answer one’s prayer) and means to speak consciously (with or without vocalization) to Him, with a definite aim (See study of noun proseuche).

This reminds me of the following articles.

I discovered a little while back that technology exists capable of interpreting the electrical signals in the body and brain.

    Army developing ‘synthetic telepathy’
Read This Thought: The U.S. Army is developing a technology known as synthetic telepathy that would allow someone to create email or voice mail and send it by thought alone. The concept is based on reading electrical activity in the brain using an electroencephalograph, or EEG.”

Hitachi: Move the Train With Your Brain
“Forget the clicker: A new technology in Japan could let you control electronic devices without lifting a finger simply by reading brain activity.”

NASA Develops System To Computerize Silent, “Sub-vocal Speech”
“NASA scientists have begun to computerize human, silent reading using nerve signals in the throat that control speech.”

    NASA develops ‘mind-reading’ system
“Preliminary results show that using button-sized sensors, which attach under the chin and on the side of the Adam’s apple, it is possible to pick up and recognize nerve signals and patterns from the tongue and vocal cords that correspond to specific words”

Am I implying telekinesis? No, but the above examples show proof that the mind exerts energy when thoughts are provoked. In other words, something happens.

I believe Christ does not have preeminence in telekinesis which is a deception provided by the enemy. Telekinesis is self-inspired. It is a counterfeit of the real thing. So is telepathy. The bible shows examples of the real occurrences of these “powers”, which are inspired by the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the Church, someone other than self.

1 Thess. 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” In my strength, this is not humanly possible. Especially, if my doctrine is based on works, what I do, or self-performance.

Now, after studying what proseuchomai means I having a better understanding. I am realizing I pray all the time. Sounds like ‘praying without ceasing.’

Psalms 1:2 says, “But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

The Hebrew root definition of meditate is,

Ponder: A murmuring or soft speech while in a continual contemplation over something.

One definition of murmur that I found is “a low, continuous sound, as of a brook, the wind, or trees, or of low, indistinct voices.”

So, to me, verbal or mental murmuring is a continuous flow of consciousness and awareness.

The continuous spiritual consciousness and communication is motivated by grace.

In my humble opinion and experience thus far, this spiritual awakening, consciousness or awareness is likely due to a purged conscience which the blood of bulls and goats was not able to purify, Heb. 10:4.

Paul speaks of Christ’s flesh now being the veil to the Holiest of Holies, the presence of God. In His presence, I am aware He is.

This lines up with what Paul said in Gal. 1:12, “For I neither received it (the Gospel) of man, neither was I taught [it], but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

Walking and living by the revelation of Christ is an ever-constant flow of consciousness and awareness of Christ by grace.

Paul mentions “prayer and supplication in the Spirit” in Eph. 6:18 and Phil. 4:6.

Prayer is mentioned first. It seems internal and constant.

Supplication is mentioned second. It seems to be a verbalization of prayer.

So, if I am to present my supplication then am I in prayer or “a continuous flow of consciousness and awareness of Christ” ?

Otherwise, supplication is only words. Prayer seems to be the state in which I am by faith through grace. My supplications are presented without doubt, second guessing, or fear because supplication seems to hinge on prayer, or a state in which I am by faith through grace.

This gives a whole new meaning to 1 Cor. 2:16, “But we have the mind of Christ.”

  • Cease, Desist, and Rest

Hebrews 4:9, ” There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.”

The word “remains” can be translated ‘reserved for’. The word remain is in passive voice also.

The word “rest” has its etymological roots in the Hebrew word “shabath.” Shabath means ‘to cease, desist, and rest.’

Here is my paraphrased version of Heb. 4:9,

“According to His promise and purpose in Christ, an inexhaustible power not from man or by man, of ceasing, desisting and resting has been reserved for those elected by grace.”

If this rest has been reserved in eternity for me in Christ by grace, and God doesn’t lie or arbitrarily change His will, then this rest has always been. Hebrews says Christ is our High Priest after the order of Melchisedec and not Aaron, Heb. 5:10.

His rest is. His rest has always been. He was and is the lamb slain before the foundations of the earth.

I am in His rest all the time. Rest from my dead works.

Dead works are works without true purpose. The purpose of something dead is not to live.

Good works are accomplished, performed, and lived by His faith in me! His faith or Him in me, not me. Good works galvanize global redemption and give the Father glory. Good works are not able to manifest in, by, or through me if I am not in His rest by grace.

Naturally speaking (not spiritually), Newton’s first law of motion states, “An object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.”

His rest is more than Newton’s law.

If I am in His rest then I stay in His rest. If His grace compels me into rest then I am compelled into His rest and stay in that rest.

As I grow in His sanctification, I metamorphosize into the pattern of the Last Adam. In this process, I am growing from glory to glory over and over with no end. I am becoming me in Him. Paul says, “to reveal His Son in me.” As I become me, I no longer have to try to be me. I am sanctified spirit, soul, and body. I just am.

My keyboard is being sanctified each time I type the keys for this blog. The keyboard is being set apart to do and be what it was created and designed to do and be. As I type, you could say a good work is manifested. The good work being manifested would not be possible if the keyboard has not power. Its power is manifested when it is in its purpose.

An engine in a car is at rest when it is running. The engine does not try to run because it does not have to try to be an engine because it is an engine.

“Another gospel” not the “Gospel of grace, tells me, “I gotta do this. I gotta do that.” And if I don’t there is something wrong with me even though there is no condemnation in Christ.

In Christ, I only DO because I sincerely want to. Otherwise, it is a unfulfillable, daunting, predictable, merry-go-round, dead work orchestrated by “another gospel.”

  • It’s not my block!

Today my sons were cleaning their rooms. They each have these over sized lego toys. The older son was arguing with the younger over one block. The conversation went something like this,

Older brother, “It’s not my block!”

    Younger brother, “Yes, it is!”

    Older brother, “It’s your block!”

I went and told my older son, “Give me the block.” He gave it to me. I walked away. Their argument completely and instantly dissipated. I removed the core object of the argument. Then the thought dawned on me, “He removed the partition between the two”, Eph. 2:14. The partition, was the Mosaic Law. In Eph. 2:15, the partition is referenced to as enmity, the cause of enmity or hostility. The partition condemned one and potentially enabled self-righteousness in the other.

I believe the Word and revelation of the Word, that is Christ, imparts grace that enables me, or Christ in me, to forgive and give the Lord the block.

When the block is removed it is made obsolete.

Hebrews 8:13 says, “By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.”

One day, I believe my sons will realize the block is not really that important and I won’t need to remove it because in their minds it will be obsolete.

God-willing, they will grow in their motivation by His love in them.

Galatians 5:6, “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”

  • Osmosis, absorption, & diffusion by His will

All things will created by His will for Him and by Him that He might have preeminence in everything.

Col. 1:16, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

He is the Creator. Isaiah 40:28, Romans 1:25, 1 Peter 4:19.

    Howstuffworks.com definition of osmosis:

Osmosis, oz MOH sihs, is the movement of liquid (water or life) from one solution through a special membrane into a more concentrated solution. The process is essential for the survival of living things.

Life as we know it can only exist with water.

Some say 61.8% of the human body is water. Some say 75%. Point being, the majority of our body is water. We grew and lived in the water of our mother’s womb. We received oxygen and life through the umbilical cord.

Acts 10:44 says, ” While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.”

I believe because of the purpose and nature of the Word which the Gentiles heard Peter spoke, it created desire in them by grace. Osmosis naturally occurred by grace through that desire and the Spirit of God fell on the Gentile hearers immersing them into Christ, into Him by revelation, grace and truth.

This immersion or baptizing into Him enabled them to supernaturally speak in other languages praising God and empowering them to be witnesses to the world.

    Why does rain fall?

I believe rain falls because the will of the Father is that life might impart life or Life might impart Life, John 3:16. Water imparts life into the earth. The water coming from a greater concentration by the will of the Father becomes a part of the plant giving the plant life in the earth’s ecosystem. The plant in turn, gives life to the earth.

His will and the will of His word becomes a part of my ecosystem.

He renews my ecosystem constantly unto fullness.

He is the ecosystem in me.

    John 1:1-4,

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

  • What is the origin of “lukewarmness” in the church?

I am of the opinion that lukewarmness in the church occurs because of doctrine mixed or based on self, self-sufficiency, or self-strength. The same type of doctrine or teaching is what was put on the brethren in Galatia. Which is why the apostle Paul said, “Who has bewitched you? Who has put a curse (of the law) on you?” If the ministry of doctrine motivates self, even egocentrism, which is biased towards the fear of judgment this doctrine promotes lukewarmness.m

A lukewarm doctrine ministers to the ‘old self’ and not the ‘new creation’ making me miserable, unfulfilled, defeated, frustrated, inadequate and settling for less.

This is an “Uzza” or “Uzzah” base doctrine.

Uzza or Uzzah is a Hebrew name meaning self-strength.

Under the Old Covenant, 2 Samuel 6:6-7 says,

“When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down and he died there beside the ark of God.”

Uzzah was not a Kohathite. Kohathites were a division of the Levitical priesthood. He was not a Levite priest. The penalty according to Mosaic Law was death.

Numbers 4:15, “After Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy furnishings and all the holy articles, and when the camp is ready to move, the Kohathites are to come to do the carrying. But they must not touch the holy things or they will die. The Kohathites are to carry those things that are in the Tent of Meeting.”

Under the New Covenant, I have the Spirit of Life not death. I am dead in Christ and died once with Christ never to die again, but live unto newness of life by the resurrecting power of Christ. This same power which all things will be subdued by Him into one, Eph. 1:10.

So, if I have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior in my heart and follow an “Uzzah” based doctrine, I will be miserable and unfulfilled. I will be so because there is no life based on my personal accomplishment or achievement.

Jesus said, “I am the way, truth and THE LIFE.”

Gal. 2:20 (KJV) says, “The life I live IS BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD.”

Living by His faith under the New Covenant, is totally contrary to obeying a doctrine that ministers “Or else.”

    “Do this, OR ELSE.”

“Or else” is the expectation of the judgment of the Old Covenant. How can I be judged anymore by such a doctrine if Christ took all of the judgment of the law and became the curse of the law for me?

    Galatians 3:13-14,

“Christ has redeemed us (or bought us back by His blood) from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

    Romans 8:1 says,

“[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

In Romans 8:1, is the “no” in “no condemnation” conditional? Under the Old Covenant it is. What covenant is Romans 8:1 said under? The New!

“No” means ETERNALLY NO because Jesus’ blood is the Son of God’s blood shed for me.

“No” means ETERNALLY NO because Jesus Christ, the Most High Priest, in the order of Melchizedek, sat down meaning He is not getting up again to perform conditional works of the law. It is done. Jesus said, “It is finished.” John 19:30.

“No” means ETERNALY NO because death has never had authority over Christ. 1 Cor. 15:55-56. Rev. 1:18. The law cannot judge a dead man or a resurrected man.

This doctrine ministers faith and hope in Him by grace unto life and godliness.

  • Chief witness part 2

Please read the previous blog, Chief witness, prior to this one. This blog builds on it.

2 Timothy 1:3 (KJV), ” I thank God, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with pure conscience,…”

At one point when I read the above scripture I would paraphrase it to the following which is totally inaccurate,

“I thank God, whom I serve in my strength with a pure conscience. I maintain and develop this pure conscience by reading enough of the bible, fasting, going to church every Sunday, giving money to the church and charities, and just acting or being overall good.”

In other words, my conscience is pure because of my so-called good works which are really dead works. After reading what I just wrote, it sounds a bit full of self. Some would disagree with me and even be offended.

If the purity of my conscience is based on anything I think is right or wrong in my heart then I am operating in dead works. I am making myself the one that justifies instead of believing in the One that Justifies.

Hebrews 6:1 speaks of “Repentance from DEAD WORKS.”

Hebrews 9:4 says, “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Why is it such a big deal and what does it mean to purge your conscience from dead works? Read the previous blog.

The conscience in every person is the chief witness at the seen of ALL of their thoughts. If the thoughts are to cause harm, be malicious, help, be courteous, good, or bad the conscience is always there witnessing these thoughts. The conscience has co-knowledge with the unseen law written on one’s heart.

Jesus removes the judgment and penalty of all the law. Here is the part 2 part of this blog.

What does the conscience see then if the judgment, guilt and penalty of the law is removed?

In Christ alone, It is purified and made whole.

The conscience is no longer conscious of what the law judges because of the finished work of Christ at the cross. Romans 3:20, 5:13.

By revelation, unto faith, the conscience sees the goodness and mercy of God through the forgiveness of Christ ALL the time which is based on Love by grace.

This Love fulfills all the Law! In this Love, from a pure conscience, fruit is born. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance all are not against the law to be or to manifest. The fruit naturally bears itself being part of the Vine of Truth.

So, I gotta manifest fruit of the Spirit. Wrong. I desire to manifest fruit or ‘be’ because there is no law telling me to be that way. Essentially, I AM. Just like God. I am. Paul says, “By the grace of God I am what I am.” God does not try to be who He is. He is. And “He is” in me. He is.

This also leads to rest from dead works in Him.
