  • Who’s in control? Really..

Control, manipulation and/or passive aggression say, “I am afraid and I can’t control. So, I am going to try to control <fill in the blank>.”

This not living by faith, but by our intelligence, experience and natural understanding based on the pattern this world, social system, family history, education and oh yes religion. None of these are necessarily truth and revelation according to hearing and hearing the word of truth. Truth sets you free and then ‘you know’. You know you are free. And you are not compelled to try to control because truth is self-sufficient and has no need to free itself. There is not liberty without truth. Jesus said, “I am the truth.” John says, “He came from the Father full of grace and truth.” Truth is real and does not go away. Jesus said, “I am the TRUE vine and you are the branches.” He is truth and our root is in Him by grace. He sets me free from trying to control myself. Huh? Yes, He sets me free from trying to control my life, body, mind and anything else attached, acquainted or affiliated. So, what now? Now, by faith, I love and am becoming love. Love is not afraid to loose control because it does not try to control. That is not its nature. That is not is motive. Love is patient. How patient? Well, the Lord is still waiting isn’t He? Moreover, He IS and in Him is patience. We wait, but He is. We also though are growing to be like Him. Love is intrinsically not manipulative. Love can be influential and inspirational which gives the recipient choice.

1 John 4:8, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

Rom. 10: 9, “That IF thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

IF here in Rom. 10:9 is a conditional particle. Love gives a choice because it loves!

  • Need for approval

    09/21/09

The need for approval has the potential to create vain imaginations. If I fail to meet approval then an idea must be created to counter the failure to approve. Vain imaginations can potentially entangle us, but the just shall live by faith. Vain imaginations are not real and substantial. They cannot save. I cannot save myself. Otherwise, Christ’s death was in vain.

  • Do you see what I see?

Rom. 1:22-26, “22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions.”

Paul says in Rom. 1:23 those professing to be wise became fools and changed God’s incorruptible glory to incorruptible things based on eyesight. This is not faith. Colossians says Christ is the image, representation and manifestation of the invisible (that which cannot be seen by fleshly eyes) God. Hebrews says Christ is the essence of the Father and now the Father speaks to us by His only Son through revelation, Gal. 1:12,16.

Col. 1:15, “15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”

Heb. 1:1-2, “1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son…

  • A life guided by futility

Rom. 1:21, “21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile (without purpose) in their thoughts, and their foolish (the fool says ‘no’ to God) hearts were darkened (shadowed by the judgment and guilt of self-imposed law).”

The lives of those who suppress the truth through ungodliness and unrighteousness are steered by intrinsic self-imposed into futility. Their thoughts are empty, vain and without purpose. The substance is in Christ, The Hope of Glory!

Excerpt from Do you really want to?

“I believe “substance of will” is sincere, real and true motive. It is substance. It is immortal, eternal, ever-motivating substance because of fullness and no lack whatsoever. In Him, is all fullness of the Godhead bodily. This substance deposits by diffusion into my spirit by the Holy Spirit by grace through faith of hearing the word of truth in its fullness. This revelation changes my life. Thank you Lord.”

  • Misplaced

Something misplaced is lost that was previously owned. I was thinking about what Paul said in Philippians.

Phil. 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”

Being found can not only mean having identity, but also being redeemed or bought back.

Luke 15:6, “And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.”

The sheep was originally part of the flock.

Luke 15:9, “And when she hath found [it], she calleth [her] friends and [her] neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

She found her misplaced piece of silver.

Luke 15:24, “For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.”

The son was restored back to his original family.

Ephesians 1:3-6, “3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”

  • FULLNESS: What is it?

The Greek definition is nautically based.

“It means fully provisioned on the ship.”

I say “fully provisioned on the ship with every good thing in Christ according to the revelation of unvieled mystery.”

Rom. 15:29, “And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.”

Eph. 3:19, “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”

Col. 1:19, “For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;”

I’m wonder how much bigger is God’s definition of fullness is than the Greeks?

  • Different time zones

I realized today, 12/25/09, that if I try to keep my self or keep score in my spiritual walk that I am kind of in a way looking into the future and trying to predict what is going to happen when I don’t necessarily know. This is putting law on myself based on self-imposed law’s core. Faith and God’s nature is always now or present pluperfect tense. Also, if I am supposedly looking into the unknown future with a presumption or guess based on self-imposed law this could be related to fortune-telling1 which is not godly, but is witchcraft. Uh oh, there I go again. Well, isn’t that what it is? Samuel said, “Rebellion is as witchcraft…”

How is this witchcraft? What would I be rebelling against? Grace perhaps? Didn’t Paul say, “Who has bewitched you? Who has put a curse on you?” I would say even, “Who has put a spell on you?”

Faith is always Now, but it seems law and self-imposed law is time based which is limiting. The New Covenant is not time based. The Old Covenant is based on sacrificing animals in this fallen creation that is time based and uner the curse. The Mediator of the New Covenant came from outside of time into time and went back outside into eternity to be the our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek (King of Righteousness) forever. True righteousness is grace based through faith and revelation and not self-imposed law.

This reminds me of what I read today. Romans 8:2, ” 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

  • “The thought came to mind”or “The Lord told me”

I thought I’d jot down the times I perceived the Lord or the Holy Spirit communicate to me. I have perceived the Father, but more Him emoting and being.

Essence of fear: In cafeteria this morning, 10/22/09, getting coffee. I noticed a woman next to me. I sensed her fear. The thought came to mind, “Self-imposed law creates fear.”

His perfect will does not possess fear: Played foosball today, 07/22/2009. I was a little concerned about being skunked. Then this thought came to mind, “You can’t will to win with fear.”

Achoo!….God bless you: “I noticed that someone was actually stopping in the middle of traffic to let someone in from the parking lot. I asked the Lord or myself, ‘Why do people impeded traffic for the sake of being ‘nice’?’ This was the thought that came to mind, “It makes them feel good inside. They get a warm fuzzy feeling.”

Patience: non-anxious thoughts: “In the Aramaic New Testament, it says patience means, “the thought of not being anxious.” You can read this and it could be just plain ol’ head knowledge, but I’ve been chewing and meditating on this in my spirit. Today, I heard it again inside at the stop light. This thought came to mind, “I cannot be anxious or have anxious thoughts if I have fullness.” What does that mean? In His presence, there is ALL FULLNESS.”

I don’t believe. I know.: “Then one day I thought about my mother in heaven and this thought came to mind, “She is not dead, but alive!” Didn’t Jesus say this in Matt. 22:31-33, “I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

Lupe: “Later, the thought came to mind,  perhaps Einstein said that we only use 8-10% of our brains. I thought some animals brains are like 8-10% the size of a human brain which lead me to the next thought. Did Adam communicate with the animals in a different way Prior to the Fall than we do now?”

Days of Noah: “On 02/19/09, this thought came to mind. Now, we are under grace not law. The “days of Noah” was ‘before the law’. In the ‘days of Noah’ they were not under the law the either. Moses had not yet even been born.”

Half-hearted:This thought came to mind, “I put law on myself in the master bathroom.” I was reminded of Christ saying in Matt. 7:1, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”

Glory of nature: “I could see the reflection of the sun on the trees. I could see the leaves and branches wave in the wind. I perceived the Spirit of the Lord say to me, “That is the glory of the tree.”

My youngest son accepted Christ in his heart:  “I perceived the anointing. And then I realized I could hear the Spirit of the Lord ‘knocking’ on my younger son’s heart.”

Is that obedience?: “As I said, I finished shooting the ball and I perceived the Lord ask me, “Are you going to put the ball back on the ball rack?” I responded yes inside, but really just wanted to leave the ball there. I took the ball and put it on the ball rack. Then the Lord ask me another question that blew me away, “Was that obedience?”

You are holy: “On 05/27/09, Saturday morning, I was brushing my teeth and I perceived the Lord speaking these words to me in my spirit, “You ARE holy.”

Do you really want to?:Today I heard the Lord tell me, “You don’t have to love people.” I said, “Excuse me, huh?” “You don’t have to love people.” This is true. I don’t. If I have to then is that real and bona fide motive from my heart?”

Daughter of mercy: “When this little girl looked at me I perceived the Lord tell me, “This is mercy.” The Hebrew word for mercy means “to delicately teach or bring up.”

Good report:I heard a small voice in me saying, “Go to the gym.”

Plastic forks and spoons: “I heard, “Go down stairs and put back the utensils.” My reply was, “Are you serious?” I heard it again three times. I walked away and this thought came to mind,MY WILLINGNESS MAKES YOU RIGHTEOUS.” It echoed and I reiterated it to myself over and over.

Old is gone. Total detachment.: “I remember a while back the Lord told me, ” I give you the willingness, but you make the choice.”

He dwells in reality and truth: “Today, 10/16/09, the Lord told me, “I dwell in reality and sincerity.

“You are a priest”: “Afterwords, the Lord told me, “You are a priest.”

Torturer: “Now, that I am be honest with myself I think the Lord told me this morning, “Forgiveness comes through you.”

Residence: “Prior to Saturday night, 01/17/09, I noticed something different in my walk. I asked the Lord that night, “What happened?” I felt He told me, “I do not dwell in unforgiveness.”

“Now separate to Me”: “I need to realize the Lord does not say things just say them. I thought I realized that when He recently told me, “I am separating you. You are a different person. You are not who you were anymore.

Hello, my name is ________ .:One night, I was lying down about to go to sleep and the Lord told me, “You have always been who you are.

To eat or not to eat the apple?: Then the Lord told me, “My Forgiveness is bigger than your unforgiveness towards yourself.”

Ten minutes: “I am walking to my apartment and the thought pops in my brain, “Remember, you said 10 minutes.”

  • I do not understand

Romans 7:14-15 (NKJV), “14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do.”

    Why is there no understanding?

Heb. 11:3, “By faith we have understanding…” Not understanding according to my logic, reasoning, degree, experience, books, etc.

Understanding by the faith of the Son of God according to hearing and hearing the unveiled word of God.

  • Old man entangled

Romans 7:1, “1 Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?”

Galatians 5:13-14, “13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”[b]

When our liberty in Christ is used as an occasion to the flesh, Gal. 5:19-21, the law or self-imposed law thinks it is empowered, but is it really. Okay, so what? Perhaps this is why Paul says in Gal. 5:1-2, “1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,[a] and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.”

Well, the law does something when you get entangled with it. What’s that? It passes judgment, guilt and condemnation as well as corruption if the flesh is sown to. If the flesh is sown to corruption is brought also. Rom. 2:12, 3:19, 3:20; Gal. 6:7-8.

Who is it that thinks he/she is entangle with self-condemnation? The old person.

Rom. 7:5, “5 For when we were in the flesh (pre-salvation), the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.”

Not the new creation in Christ. The new creation in is not aware of any judgment of sin. Chapter and verse please? Rom. 3:20, 5:13, 6:14, 8:1; 2 Cor. 5:17. The is gone. In Phil. 3:13, “forgetting” in “forgetting those things which are behind” in the Greek means OBLIVION. I do not have knowledge of the guilt and judgment of the law. That is what these verses and other related verses mean: Rom. 3:20, 5:13, 6:14, 8:1; 2 Cor. 5:17. This is only possible through the complete work of Christ by purging the conscience from dead works. My conscience is purged, sanctified and purified in Christ.

Reality is not keeping the law according to the flesh, but His faith in us. This not only makes us right-standing with God, but imparts His actual nature into our being by revelation.

The apostle (to the Jews) Peter says, “18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
