  • Death not imputed

Romans 5:12-14, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin (and death by sin) is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.”

Death could be the separation from Life and or the knowledge of Life. Tree of life, Gen. 2:9.

When there is no self-imposed law sin is not continually or habitually imputed passively over and over again anymore. The spiritual criminal or juvenile record is wiped clean and remains way because His forgiveness does change. His will and love do not change. He is love. Shall we continue in sin that grace abound? No, Titus 2:11-12, Rom. 6:1-23, Heb. 10:26, Jude 1:4.

Proverbs 14:12, 16:25 (NIV), “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.”

2 Cor. 3:5-6 (NIV), “Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”

Self-imposed law will not impart true life. It can impart self-deceit, pride and a false sense of security until its foundation is shaken by circumstances of life and pressure. Things that are real only become more real or what they already are. Things that aren’t real are exposed by the light and truth.

We are under grace, Rom. 6:14. Sin and death do not have authority over Christ in us or us in Him. Since my conscience is purged from dead works and the knowledge of the guilt and penalty of the law it is being sanctified and purified by grace and revelation. In turn, this creates pure motive and revelation. The just shall live by His faith in them unto knowing.

  • Renovation

    I like Merriam-Webster’s definition of RENOVATE1.

    • to restore to a former better state (as by cleaning, repairing, or rebuilding)
    • to restore to life, vigor, or activity

Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

The word ‘renewing’ in the Greek means to renovate over and over again. When He renews He does so in present pluperfect tense in us meaning “now, now, now, now, now…” and so on. This occurs by grace and revelation and is not done by us. It is His good work and will in us. So, when rhema word comes it renovates. Sounds familiar.

Isa. 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.”

Our lives have been bought by His blood. Our spirit is saved at salvation. Our soul goes through sanctification unto righteousness unto holiness and Being in Him. In sanctification, our soul is renovated from the unregenerate particles of the old man’s thinking. The old man’s thinking is nullified in Christ at the cross. A dead man does not have power. Death and the power of the law or self-imposed law has no power over a man that cannot die. This is the spiritual understanding and knowledge that is deposited and diffused into our being by grace and revelation. It is a promise of the New Covenant.

    Heb. 10:16, “This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

  • Depth of Koninia “Fellowship”

A couple of years ago I perceived that who I am I have always been in Christ. I always was and always am, but in Him. He has redeemed me or bought me back because before I was and in Him I am. Lately, as I have been meeting other believers I have noticed something. There is something like a depth of familiarity with the individual. For some, it is as if I have know them a few thousand years ago. I would even say longer. Not joking. For others, it is still in the thousands, but not so many. I have come to realize thanks to discipleship and revelation that the depth of koninia1 or fellowship is directly related to the doctrine shared.

    Sound doctrine is a must for His true fellowship. 1 John 1:1-10; Rom. 6:17; 1 Tim. 1:3, 10; 1 Tim. 4:16; 1 Tim. 6:3.

1 John 1:5, “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”

1 Thess. 2:8 (YNG), “so being desirous of you, we are well-pleased to impart to you not only the good news of God, but also our own souls, because beloved ye have become to us”

Apostles and prophets osmotically impart sound doctrine to the Church by revelation, truth and spirit. Believers impart and share sound doctrine and God causes the increase by grace and revelation.

In 1 John 1:1-5, the apostle John speaks of fellowship with Christ and the Father. Paul speaks of Christ IN you, Gal. 1:16; Col. 1:27.

1 John 1:6 says, “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:” We cannot walk and live in another doctrine or gospel and have true koninia fellowship.

1 John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

Col. 2:2 says, “That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;”

“Being knit together in love” in the Greek is passive voice. It means an external or internal influence in each individual and as a group is passively causing the Body of Christ to coalesce or unite, merge or fuse together in agapeo love by revelation of Him in them according to sound doctrine and grace.

  • Motive impartation

    PRE-salvation, Romans 7:18 says,

“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not.

Apart from His enabling power and ability I am not able to do anything good works apart from Him. The works are dead. Only His motive can enable good works by grace. Good intentions don’t save the soul, 1 Cor. 13:3. His power saves the soul, Rom. 1:16.

I believe when Christ reveals Himself, His love, mercy, nature and forgiveness this is like a mirror. This reflection of the true me in Him transforms motive. The Greek word for repentance literally means afterthought. When true, deep, real revelation shines it changes lives. His forgiveness at salvation is revelation by grace. This revelation creates afterthought because our motive is changed by Who He IS. This is the lifestyle of the believer. The just shall live by faith. His nature, grace, power and forgiveness by His blood obliterate who we thought we were prior to salvation. The old has gone. The new has come. The new grows from glory to glory by daily revelation of Him in us. This is for the Church unto the fullness of Him in it.

  • Thought life..

I am starting to believe revelation comes from motive. Quote from Arbitrator – thoughts.

So, what does the conscience perceive in positive thinking? “You better be positive. Be a good person. You must think positive. Why aren’t you thinking positive?” Doesn’t sound like pure motive to me. Only the holy blood of Christ can purify the conscience from the guilt, judgment and penalty of the law. In turn, motive is purified, thoughts are renewed by revelation. Once again, “The just shall live by His faith in them.” His faith comes by hearing and hearing the word, revelation. Faith deposits, diffuses into wisdom, knowledge and understanding and becomes you. We inherit His righteous nature. This nature comes by hearing the word.

Our motive in Christ is compelled and enabled by His grace and power.

Phil. 4:8 says, “…Think on these things.” The word think in the Greek is in present tense middle or passive deponent voice. Present tense meaning a continuous habitual action, but what is the catalyst? To “think” on these things is to actively do, but because of a passive influence. This is middle or passive deponent voice. This is key. Why? It is His enabling Power and Ability to those who believe. The same power that rose Him from the dead from the house of Sheol for our salvation is the same power that motivates and compels us in Him. This is good. Thank you Lord.

This supports 2 Cor. 10:5, “Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”

Romans 12:2 says, “Be ye transformed.” “Transformed” in the Greek is in passive voice. It means to be transformed due to an external influence or even internal, Christ in you the Hope of Glory. It is akin to the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to butterfly. Even the motive of the butterfly has been changed due to its transformation. Glory! How much more in the hearts of men and women? One of the purposes of the caterpillar is to transform and be a butterfly and not to stay a caterpillar.

  • Where does love dwell?

This blog builds on Dwelling place.

On 08/22/09, the Lord told me, “I dwell in willingness.”

Gal. 5:6 (YNG) says, “Faith through love working.”

The New International Version says Gal. 5:6 (NIV), “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”

Agapeo love is motivated by grace, faith and the revelation of Him in us. It enables us to make choices that seem hard and be stronger in Him. Christ said He came to do the will of the Father, John 5:30. God, Jehovah or the Existing One is love 1 John 4:8, 1 Corinthians 13.

Christ willfully died when we were yet still sinners, Rom. 5:8. That same willingness can be, should be and is in those who believe in Him, Eph. 1:19.

His love does not try to love, but IS in all purity and truth. Paul says that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, Rom. 5:5.

He abolishes the walls of fear and hate and creates the motive and willingness to love or love itself in the flesh, Eph. 2:15, John 1:14.

  • Dream about Beyoncé

Last night, 05/27/10, I had a dream. I went inside a Jazz or R&B club. I bump into this lady. She puts her hand on my shoulder and says, “Excuse me” or something like that. I notice it is Beyoncé. I sat down. She went to the stage to sing. She began to sing. As she was singing, her voice cracked. The crowd actually booed her. This caught my attention. Why are they booing Beyoncé? Some reading this are laughing. Well, she said her manager recommended her not to do the show because she had a fever and was ill. She did the show anyways. She continued to sing and then suddenly vomited on stage and left. The dream ended.

This is my guess what the dream means.

The club is the secular world or social system. Beyoncé is the church. My desire is to protect and love His Church. It is something in me that does not go away. I think that was why I was a little taken when they booed her. The church is under law in many things and causes strife, sickness, disease and confusion, but in spite of this the ‘show’ must go on. The word of hypocrite1 in the Greek means, “the acting of a stage player.” The Greek root mean, “to simulate, feign, pretend.” Ironic.

If a believer is under self-imposed law they will likely operate with self-strength2. In this self-strength, Gal. 5:19-21 occurs. A mess, but one Christ has died for. Thank you Lord. In all actuality and truth, we are dead to what we think or judge against ourselves. He is the only one who could judge or condemn us, but what is His response?

Romans 8:31-36, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?Who is he who condemns? It is God who justifies. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

His response is, “I will be born of a woman, under the law, become the Last Adam or man, share the Gospel, will die for all of creation, go to Sheol (Hell), resurrect, be glorified and sit down at the right hand of the Father for you freely because I AM LOVE and I love you.”

    Another tangent, but worth it.

In short, He separates us from us and ruins who we thought we were to be who we really are in Him since before the foundations of the earth according to the good pleasure of the Father’s will.

This will happen and is happening according to the will of the Holy Spirit.

Eph. 5:27, “That he (Christ) might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

In Him, the Church is NOT under the curse of self-imposed law. In Him, is Life and righteousness. The church or ‘called out ones’ will be the Church not because I am writing this, but because He does not change His mind.

  • Eternal life

1 John 1:2, “the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us–”

The word “eternal” in the above verse means, ‘without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be.’ The Greek root means ‘perpetually, incessantly.’ His life energy is perpetual, constant and incessant in us. And we don’t have to conjure it up. Thank God. If I conjure something then it is me ‘trying.’ In doing so, I may be rebuilding the old me and its attachments which are dead, Gal. 2:18. This trying also reflects motive.

Man, do I ever see this life energy thing about the Lord. It is good. I perceive and feel it a work, at the mall, with my friends, reading the word, thinking about Him, praying, looking at nature, and so on. It is by grace and revelation. This life does not stop or cease, but is ever existent in us! It it exponential. It has to be if it is His life. He is the Life, John 14:6, Col. 3:4. He is the hope of glory in us. He is, he is, he is. This energy life comes with motive. The motive is His willingness. This willingness and life diffuses into our essence making our flesh and being intrinsic righteousness, Rom. 3:21-22, by the regenerative work of the Holy Spirit, Rom. 8:2,4,6,10,11.

Romans 8:13, “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”

Quote from I forgot,I believe this is why I forgot I quit smoking because it was no longer important to me. Something dead is dead. It cannot come back to life unless I actively remember it. If I actively try to forget then I am not forgetting, but trying to erase a memory.” Another blog, No wonder I keep remembering.

I believe we are not called to crucify our flesh, Kicking a dead horse. Simply put, how can something dead be killed again? It is dead. I believe through the Spirit our motive changes by His life in us, 2 Tim. 1:1. In Him, we are not who we were or even who we thought we were, but are new creatures in Him according to the unveiled truth of Him in us, Gal. 1:16. This is who we really are and always have been by this awesome life He has freely given us! Eternal life is not necessarily future tense, but also present and past tense.

  • That which was from the beginning…

This is what I saw a while back and am seeing have been seeing over and over…it doesn’t go away. It gets deeper.

1 John 1:1 “That which was from the beginning….”

The root of the word “was” means ‘to be, to exist, to happen, to be present.’
The word “was” is in imperfect indicative tense. Greek Reference: https://www.preceptaustin.org/new_page_40.htm

The IMPERFECT tense can often paint a vivid picture of an action (a veritable “motion picture”) which is repeated in the past — the idea is that  the action happens over & over & over — in Acts 16:7 Luke uses the IMPERFECT tense to portray Paul attempting to enter Bithynia, being hindered in some way by the Holy Spirit & yet trying again & again to enter!

I think if I understand this correctly He was, was, was, was, was…into infinity, and we were, were, were, were. But He IS, is, is, is…and we are, are, are, are in Him. He constantly IS in us and were constantly ARE in Him. Essentially, He is over and over again in eternity. He always has been.
