  • Reality..

It seems the more I grow IN HIM the more I am REAL. He came from the Father FULL of grace and truth (reality). By revelation and grace, I am growing into His fullness or His fullness in growing in me.

John 1:14, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

    Excerpt from PreceptAustin.Org1,

Truth (225) (aletheia from a = negative ~ without + lanthano = to be hidden, to escape notice, cp our English “latent” from Latin = to lie hidden) means containing nothing that hidden. That which is unconcealed. Whatever God says (is truth).

Aletheia is a reality which is firm, solid, binding. When aletheia is used of individuals, it characterizes their action, their words or their thoughts and conveys the general sense of integrity (integer = one) (See Integrity – A Few Thoughts)

Aletheia speaks of veracity, reality, sincerity, accuracy, integrity (“what you see is what you get”).

Aletheia is the opposite of fictitious, feigned, false.

Aletheia is a key word in the Gospel of John (24x or almost 1 in 4 NT uses – also 28x in John’s epistles – 1Jn =16, 2Jn=5, 3Jn=7) but is much less common in the synoptic Gospels (7x in all 3 Synoptics).

Truth is the correspondence between a reality and a declaration which professes to set it forth. Words are true when they correspond with objective reality: Persons and things are true when they correspond with their profession. Hence a truth is a declaration which has corresponding reality, or a reality which is correctly set forth.

  • The end of the commandment is…what?

1 Timothy 1:5, “Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned:”

    Paraphrase:

Now, not tomorrow, not yesterday, but Now, the end (termination, the limit at which a thing ceases to be [always of the end of some act or state, but not of the end of a period of time]) of the commandment (Ten Commandments, Mosaic Law, Gentile self-imposed law) is the revelation of Christ in us, the law is fulfilled in us now, Rom. 8:4, He is the end of the law in us, Rom. 10:4. The end of the commandment is Christ. It is His love out of a pure (not contaminated with law, but according to knowledge after godliness) heart, irreprehensible and blameless, 1 Thess. 3:13, a good (functioning as designed) conscience, and a non-hypocritical, genuine, authentic faith.

My conscience is purged from dead works by Christ’s sacrificial blood, Heb. 10:2. In Christ, it (my conscience) is incapable of possessing knowledge of what the law or self-imposed law judges, Rom. 3:20, Rom. 5:13. This complete work of Christ purifies even my motive. My motive grows into His motive and will, Rom. 12:2. His willingness by grace in me makes me right standing with God the Father. I partake of and am His righteousness. In Christ, my heart is blameless and irreprehensible. It is incapable of blame, Rom. 8:1.

I receive His faith in me that makes me righteous, Phil. 3:9. I receive this faith by hearing and hearing the word of truth, Col. 1:4-5. Hope (ever-eager and joyful expectation) predicates on His faith in me. Now, by this (His) faith, I have understanding and am growing in the unveiled knowledge of a purged conscience and pure heart. In the growth, I emote His love in a natural and beautiful way because that is my heart’s desire. The desire is to manifest and give this Love away so others can receive it because love is not self-seeking.

  • Wilderness shoutout

This blog is dedicated to those believers who feel like they are in the wilderness. What is that?

The Hebrew meaning of wilderness is “the arrangement of things to create order.1

1 Cor. 14:33, “For God is not [the author] of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.”

I am reminded of when someone breaks a bone in their body, but it is not setting correctly so the doctor must break the bone again in order to set it the right way. This must be agony for the patient, but it is for the patient’s well-being. The initial pain is almost unbearable, but is necessary for the results.

Heb. 12:7, “Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?”

Heb. 12:11, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

So, how do we endure? Is God going to browbeat us into obedience? I say no. Chapter and verse brother please?

    Rom. 1:17, Gal. 2:20, Gal. 3:11, Heb. 10:38

“The just shall live by faith.” This faith is His faith in us that we partake of by revelation. This is how we can be more than conquerors in the wilderness. Jesus went into the wilderness and came out in the power of the Holy Spirit as the Last Adam bringing obedience unto righteousness and holiness sanctifying those who would believe on Him. The fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him.

The wilderness can be an awesome place to be and how we respond in this environment will take us to where we are going. Whether it be in circles to insanity or onward with vision and purpose in His will, Phil. 3:13-14.

In the wilderness, we are not led by our souls, understanding, intellect, sight, feelings, emotions, other’s opinions, hunches, but by revelation of Him in us.

Deu. 8:2, “And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, [and] to prove thee, to know what [was] in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.”

Our righteousness is no longer based on law-keeping. Christ is our righteousness, 1 Cor. 1:30, Phil. 3:9.

I believe the order that is created from the wilderness is created by His grace through faith. Romans 5:1-5.

The bible says Jesus died for our salvation and that we might know God and His overflowing love for us. I believe Jesus also died for our motive. Our motive prior to salvation was contrary to us and against our best interest. Our motive was used to betray us and spiritually kill us, Rom. 7:11. We were spiritual dead in our trespasses and sins without knowledge of Him.

In the wilderness, there is potential and opportunity to grow in His motive and will in us by the renewing of our minds, Rom. 12:2. This imparts his nature and grace into us making us (mature) sons of God, Rom. 8:14. Order almost seems to be a manifestation of His will in this creation. Reminds me of redemption, Eph. 1:10.

  • The circumcision of Christ

Col. 2:11, “In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins [fn] of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,”

The circumcision of Christ is according to the Spirit of God in us which is the the word of God.

Eph. 6:17, “And receive…the sword of the Spirit which (spirit) is the word of God.

Heb. 4:12, “For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

1 Cor. 15:45, “So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a lifegiving spirit.”

John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Rom. 2:29, “No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision  of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God.”

The Hebrew word davar indicates words are things and things are words. His word is not empty, but spirit and life.

John 6:63, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.”

1 Pet. 4:11, “If any man speak, [let him speak] as the oracles  of God..”

We can speak His will and word into this fallen creation according to His purpose and plan of redemption and it will not return void, but fulfill its purpose. The quickened word that proceeds from Him through us does not require our strength to be what it is to do what it does. It is by His enabling power and ability. It raises the dead, delivers, changes lives, even our DNA, redeems and anything else that is according to the will and purpose of Him who sits on High whose name is a exalted above all others that every knee will bow and acknowledge that Jesus is the resurrected Son of God from the house of the dead, Lord or all Lords and King of all Kings.

  • Eternal perpetuating “Always”

    • Col. 1:3, “praying always for you”
    • 1 Thess. 3:6, “remembrance of us always
    • 2 Thess. 1:3, “thank God always
    • 2 Thess 1:11, “we pray always for you”
    • 2 Thess. 3:16, “give you peace always
    • Philemon 1:4, “making mention of thee always in my prayers”

Always does not stop. Now, His faith IS…in us…always. We live our lives always by the faith of the Son of God Who reveals Himself in us, Gal. 2:20. By faith and grace, compelled by His edifying agapeo-love, our spirit man is ALWAYS praying, being glorious, thanking, being renewed, being saved by hope, partaking in His hope, and the list goes on. Our soul partakes of His Spirit, substance and essence. He is our elder brother.

We are IN HIM Always. It is ever-perpetual. It does not stop. Always does not have a time constraint or limitation. In His presence there is all fullness, but even more and even more unto overflowing. I believe because of His nature and fullness He is. “Always” is there with Him in His presence. “There” is eternity with the Father, 1 John 1:2. Praise You Lord. Thank You. He fills ALL in ALL and even more. There is no lack. Lack is not in God’s dictionary. Fragmentation is not in His dictionary. His work is a complete work. He sat down once Always at the right hand of the Father in glory to be our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

  • Partake in His sufferings

Phil. 3:10, “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming like him in his death..”

Paul says that he desires to know “the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings.” I believe what Paul is not saying in this verse is that we must suffer in fellowship with Christ, but we partake of the accomplishment of Christ’s sufferings. We are partakers of His grace. He came in the fullness of times, born of a woman, under the law, full of grace and truth. Now, we partake of His grace. His grace is exponential and has no bounds.

I believe we partake of the accomplishment of His sufferings by His faith in us through hearing and hearing the word of truth by grace.

Greek paraphrase Phm 1:6: That the fellowship (indescribable intimate union and bond) of your (His) faith may become godly life-energy by the revelatory knowledge of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus1.

I believe there is a difference between partaking in the accomplishment of Christ’s sufferings versus being persecuted for godliness, revelation of the Word and global Church persecution2.

2 Tim. 3:12, “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted..

  • What do angels want to know?

1 Peter 1:12, “Even angels long to look into these things.”

Hebrews 1:4, “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

Angels do not have physical bodies. We partake of Christ’s actual nature triunely: spirit, soul, body. Angels are incapable of doing this. I believe angels desire earnestly to see the manifestation of the Hope of Glory and Logos or Word in our flesh. The mystery that has been kept hidden since the foundation of the earth and time is now revealed through His holy apostles and prophets, Eph. 3:5.

Christ is our elder brother. We are God’s children through Christ by the Spirit of adoption.

  • Touching God

Hebrews 1:3, “Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”

Christ is not a mirror of the Father, but the express image of his substance and person. The word express in the Greek means,

    • the exact expression (the image) of any person or thing, marked likeness, precise reproduction in every respect, i.e facsimile

This is in contrast to a mirror image. Jesus was born into the fullness of time to purchase back those who are His by His blood and bring them out from under the curse of the law so that they might receive the adoption as the sons of God, Gal. 4:4-5.

God, through His Son, came to this planet that He created that Adam gave over to the enemy so we could experience Him and all He has to offer. We could touch Him, see Him, hear His voice because He was and is in the flesh. Paul says “We are members of His flesh and bone”, Eph. 5:30. Paul also says we are being transformed from glory to glory by the revelation of Christ in us, Rom. 12:2, Phil. 3:11, 24. In this transformation, we are partaking of HIS nature in our spirit, soul and bodies. Now, He is still on earth through the Church. Even in the flesh. People can still feel His touch, His voice and even see Him, 1 John 1:1.

  • Sent Son and sent son

I wrote this excerpt on 05/22/09 and saved it to my drafts. I had been reading and studying Hebrews.

“Hebrews three talks about Jesus being the Chief Apostle and High Priest of our faith. Chapter two talks about Him being made a little lower than the angels and the authority given to Him. The second part in chapter two talks about Him being a High Priest. An apostle is a son sent by his Father.”

Then I read it today, 07/13/10, I it was quickened once again with more light.

Gal. 4:4, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son..

John 3:17, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

The Greek definition of apostle is a delegate, messenger, or ambassador sent with full power of attorney to do or rather be the will of the Sender.

Gal. 4:6, “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

The Father has sent His will, The Word made Flesh, His Only Son, by grace and revelation, into the hearts of those who believe He resurrected from the dead and was sent from the Father. I believe the Lord is calling His apostles and prophets for His Church. I believe this has never stopped since the birth of the New Testament Church in Acts1. They are sent sons from the Father Whom Christ has revealed Himself in them by grace.

  • Elijah prayed for rain…it rained

Today, 06/29/10, Aaron’s prayer was answered from four days ago, Elijah prayed for rain... It poured cats and dogs today.
